Every October, two causes close to our hearts take the spotlight: National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month and Pit Bull Awareness Month. Together, they shine a light on the dogs who need us most and the people who open their hearts to give them a second chance.
For us at Maximum Bully pet food, that means celebrating the bully breeds, strong, loyal, and loving companions who too often get overlooked in shelters because of misunderstandings and stigma.
Why Awareness Matters
Pit bulls and other bully breeds make up a large percentage of dogs in shelters across the U.S. Many end up there not because they’ve done anything wrong, but because of myths about their temperament or outdated breed restrictions.
